Komo KulshanIn cultivation since 1918, this interesting smaller growing rhododendron species appears at first glance to be an evergreen azalea, but is actually a rhododendron. The plant is semi deciduous, so will lose some foliage in winter, but will fill in in spring about the time the flowers unfold.
